As Sosúa grew bigger, the two concrete benches were demolished. There is a street now (2022) called Calle La Puntilla, and the park has been beautifully remodeled.

Then

During the 1940s and 1950s there was an attractive entrance located across the Colmado with two concrete benches on each side of the entry to the park; there was also a Trujillo bust that was destroyed after the assassination of the dictator.
